Requirements

Let’s break down the main requirements:

The main applicant, who is over 18 years of age, provides a certificate of no criminal record and documents for the company and confirms the availability of €10,440.

Income requirement:: There is no  minimum investment set  in a business
Passive income:
There is no passive income requirement
Bank Account: Need to confirm the availability of €10,440.
Family:
The requirements for the bank account balance will be higher. In addition to €10,440, the applicant adds €5,220 for each adult relative and €2,610 for a child.

Documents

The standard set of documents for D2 visa to Portugal includes the following:

- A visa application
- 2 color photographs 3x4 cm
- A passport and its copy
- A bank statement
- A contract for the lease or sale of an apartment in Portugal
- Certificate of no criminal records with apostille
- Permission to check criminal records in Portugal
- Health insurance
- A business plan
- If the company is already open, founding documents and financial statements
- If the company has not been opened yet, a statement from the Bank of Portugal on the availability of money to open a company.
