A Media & Entertainment Technology Executive in Hollywood and a passionate global citizen, Filiz Bahmanpour has built a career at the intersection of innovation, storytelling, and technology. Her work has taken her around the world, allowing her to collaborate with industry leaders, creatives, and technologists on a global scale.
Beyond her professional achievements, Filiz finds deep joy in travel, culture, and human connection. Having explored over 50 countries across multiple continents—and holding multiple citizenships—she is constantly inspired by the diversity of people, places, and experiences. Her love for photography, design, and global perspectives fuels her creativity, both in business and life.
Splitting her time between Los Angeles, London, and Lisbon, Filiz and her family have embraced a truly international lifestyle. She co-founded VivaCity Investment alongside Brad Bahmanpour with a clear mission: to help others unlock the freedom, opportunities, and fulfillment that come with living, studying, or retiring abroad.
With over 20 years of experience, Maria Goncalves is a highly respected lawyer and legal advisor specializing in Civil Law, Real Estate Law, Investments, Commercial & Corporate Law, and Immigration Law. Based in Cascais, Lisbon, her law office has been a trusted resource for both locals and international clients, providing expert legal services with a client-focused approach.
Maria earned her Law degree from the Faculty of Law at the University of Coimbra in 1991 and has been registered with the Portuguese Bar Association since 1993. She furthered her expertise with a postgraduate degree in Legal Advice to Companies from Instituto Superior de Gestão in 1996 and advanced training in Corporate, Finance, Banking, and International Litigation & Arbitration at the Summer School of Cornell Law School/Université de Paris in 1997.
Fluent in Portuguese, English, and French, Maria is dedicated to helping individuals and businesses navigate Portugal’s legal landscape with confidence. As a legal partner at VivaCity Investment, she plays a key role in guiding international investors, expatriates, and Golden Visa applicants through the legal process of residency, real estate, and business investments in Portugal.
A serial entrepreneur, seasoned technology architect, extreme sport enthusiast and passionate traveler, Brad Bahmanpour has spent his career designing and implementing innovative technology solutions for major government and private sector clients. With a deep curiosity for the world, he has seamlessly blended family, work, and adventure, creating a lifestyle that embraces discovery and global experiences.
An avid traveler, Brad has explored more than 70 countries and is well on his way to reaching 100 and beyond. His passions extend beyond technology—he has a keen interest in world history, filmmaking, diving, skydiving, motorcycling, and exploring museums. More than anything, he enjoys sharing experiences, cultures, and adventures with great company.
Fluent in English, German, Turkish, and Persian, Brad embraces a truly global lifestyle, splitting his time between Los Angeles, London, and Lisbon with his wife and daughter. Together, he and Filiz co-founded VivaCity Investment with a shared mission: to help others unlock international opportunities and experience the freedom of living, working, or retiring abroad.
